Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Chesapeake, VA

MUST:
Experienced Certified Publica Accountant
8+ years of progressive experience in public accounting with a focus on tax review and financial reporting.
Demonstrated expertise in handling complex and high-net-worth client matters.
Expert proficiency with tax software, QuickBooks, and Google Docs Suite.
Excellent analytical, communication, and mentorship skills.
Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Active CPA license required.
PTIN required.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree preferred).


DUTIES:
Perform final quality reviews of client bookkeeping files and financial statements for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
Conduct detailed technical reviews of individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns to ensure adherence to current tax laws.
Personally manage and work on high-profile and complex client accounts , utilizing a team-based approach to ensure excellence in service and deliverables.
Identify errors, inconsistencies, and opportunities for enhanced tax planning, and communicate actionable feedback to the team.
Collaborate with firm leadership to develop best practices for quality assurance, workflow efficiency, and technical training.
Stay current with changes to tax regulations and accounting standards and share knowledge with the broader team.
