Job Description:

The IT Operations analyst ndash ServiceNow Administrator will play a critical role in the emerging ServiceNow landscape. The role is responsible for assisting team with administration and minor technical and reporting enhancements in ServiceNow. This role will assist the product owner with the technical know-how around the ServiceNow platform and will lead and provide direction to the services partner in the day-to-day activities with the platform. ServiceNow Administrator will play a critical role assisting others in the team with automation around data extract required for various reporting requirements Principal Duties and Responsibilities Act as the administrator for ServiceNow platform along with the managed services partners. Will act as a single point of contact coordinating for all modifications and enhancements in ServiceNow instance Should perform various admin activities required in ServiceNow (enhancing service catalog, enhancing notifications etc.) along with directing the managed service partner make changes required in ServiceNow Should have conceptual knowledge of developing workflows, configurations, customization in ServiceNow Work with various leads in simplifying and standardizing of ServiceNow processes Assist with gap analyses highlighting current state, future state based on best practices. Contribute to IT Service Management transformation by providing ServiceNow platform expertise while supporting current state along with the managed service vendor. Will assist the functional process owners with any technical assistance required on ServiceNow Provide periodic updates to leadership on the roadmap for Service Now along with the progress being made towards achieving the goals in the roadmap Will be responsible along with the partner in keeping up with periodic upgrades required on ServiceNow platform Minimum RequirementsQualifications Bachelorrsquos degree and 3 years related work experience or 5 years of related work experience Candidate to have experience with working with remote partners and be able to prioritize the work assigned to the partners A working knowledge of ServiceNOW forms and tables in the database Working knowledge on configuring SLAs, creating dashboards in ServiceNow platform Understands ITSM technical and functional design requirements. Should have functional working knowledge of various aspects of ITSM, CMDB and Asset Management Being able to work with ServiceNow or an equivalent tool to extract the details and convert them into reports Experience with development and implementation of ITSM modules - Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management or other ITSM applications. Experience with process design and technical system design analysis. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with strong presentation and facilitation skills Strong interpersonal skills customer - centric attitude Excellent verbal and written communication skills with emphasis on customer service, including experience handling challenging situations and conflict resolution. Must be able to work in a fast paced organization where change is constant. Must be able to work both collaboratively and independently and take initiative to identify, track, and resolve issues. Should have worked in a multi-vendor multi-location environment Ability to navigate through a matrix organization to review and establish improved processes Proven team player and team builder Desired Qualifications Good knowledge of SNOW licensing models will be an advantage ServiceNow Application Developer Implementation Specialist and System Administrator certifications are a plus Demonstrated ability to effectively drive and lead organizational change Evaluationinvestigation and coordination of incidents and problems Experience with leading metrics conversation with senior management and vendors
