purpose and functions of the position.The Dollar Tree Marketing
Signage & Special Projects Coordinator is responsible for the
day-to-day coordination, development and implementation of
Marketing materials for Dollar Tree Stores and/or its Divisions
(Dollar Tree Plus, Dollar Tree Canada, Dollar Tree/Family Dollar
Combo Stores). This includes working with the Graphics team on the
development of advertising materials and signage as well as the
in-house print shop and external agencies on the production.This
position also coordinators with other Marketing efforts, such as:
Grand Opening Exterior Visibility, Annual Back to School & Holiday
Toy Drive, and other special projects as needed.Principal Duties
and Responsibilities - Primary responsibilities listed in order of
importance
- Coordinate marketing of Store Grand Opening, Relocation and
Expansion initiatives, including serving as the primary liaison
with outside visibility vendors, making recommendations for
visibility packages based on budget, history and zoning surveys,
and reviewing and processing all visibility invoices, ensuring
department remains within budget.
- Point person for multi-store projects that receive
promotions.
- Maintain current store lists, including managing SLM
updates/changes to include updating the address information, as
well as adding new, relocated or rebranded stores to the store list
and removing closed stores.
- Work closely with Real Estate, Operations, Print Shop and
Mailroom teams to ensure all grand opening/relocation signage
reaches the appropriate person/store on deadline.
- Responsible for writing, editing and proofreading marketing
materials and communication to the field and vendors.
- Responsible for coordinating company-wide charity programs
(Operation Homefront) throughout the year, including store
communications, signage, volunteer list maintenance and responding
to all incoming questions from stores.
- Work with the Tax Department in handling Hurricane and
Back-to-School Tax Time Events. Monitor timing of events and
mailing of signage.Other duties as assigned.To perform this job
successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential
duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are

required.Minimum Requirements/Qualifications - Summary of
knowledge, experience and education required.
- 3-5 years experience in Marketing related position (Retail
Marketing experience a plus)
- BA in Marketing, Journalism, English or related equivalent
experience.
- Position requires excellent written, verbal and presentation
skills.
- Demonstrates appreciation of the importance of accuracy in
written material.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and work quickly to meet
deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, as well
as effective general marketing, and interpersonal skills
required.
- Position requires individual be a self-starter and team
player.Desired Skills - Desired but not required.Detail oriented,
good communications skills, organized, creative, discipline and
detail oriented, proactive, adaptable, good interpersonal
