working environment for all employees. Job Summary: We are seeking
an experienced and skilled Foreman to lead our roofing team in
delivering high-quality roofing projects. The ideal candidate will
have a strong background in commercial roofing, excellent
leadership abilities, and a commitment to ensuring safety,
efficiency, and quality on every project. Duties/Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise roofing crews in the installation, repair, or
replacement of roofs. Ensure that projects are completed on time,
within budget, and in accordance with safety and quality standards.
Collaborate with project managers to plan and schedule tasks,
allocating resources efficiently. Recruit, train, and manage
roofing crew members, ensuring that they are skilled, motivated,
and adhere to safety protocols. Conduct regular team meetings to
discuss project goals, safety measures, and overall performance.
Inspect work in progress and upon completion to ensure it meets
company and industry standards. Implement and enforce quality
control measures to guarantee the durability and functionality of
roofing systems. Proactively identify potential issues and
obstacles that may impact project timelines or quality. Work
closely with the team to develop and implement solutions,
minimizing disruptions and ensuring the smooth progression of
projects. Required Skills/Abilities: 5 years’ experience as a
Foreman in commercial roofing. In-depth knowledge of roofing
systems, materials, and construction techniques. Strong leadership
and organizational skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints
and roofing plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal
abilities. Knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to
maintaining a safe work environment. Education and Experience: High
school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in
roofing preferred. Physical Requirements: Must be able to work at
heights. Physically able to climb, stand, walk, kneel, and crouch
for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a
time to lift and carry roofing materials
