Job Description Job Description Superintendent - Commercial Construction Superintendent Position Overview We are seeking a qualified Superintendent to oversee and manage our construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining a safe work environment. Key Responsibilities Manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety regulations. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, laborers, and material suppliers to ensure efficient workflow on-site. Develop and maintain project schedules, monitoring progress and addressing any delays or issues that arise. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to safety protocols. Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure project requirements are met and expectations exceeded. Prepare and manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial accountability throughout the project life cycle. Qualifications Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction, with a focus on ground-up, new construction, additions, and renovations. Strong knowledge of healthcare, hospitality, K-12, and higher education construction projects is preferred. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction documents, and specifications. Proficient in project management software and tools.
