Riverside Custom Outdoors is looking for an experienced Outdoor Living Construction Foreman to lead field crews in building high-quality outdoor living projects, including patios, retaining walls, pools, pavilions, and custom hardscapes. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being in the field, takes pride in craftsmanship, and wants to grow with a company that values integrity, teamwork, and excellence. Learn more about us at www.riversidecustomoutdoors.com Key Responsibilities Lead, train, and supervise a field crew on outdoor living construction projects Oversee installation of paver patios, retaining and seating walls, fire features, sod, and softscape elements Plan daily job activities and coordinate materials, equipment, and site readiness Operate skid steers, mini-excavators, trucks, and trailers safely and efficiently Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and meet safety standards Communicate clearly with homeowners, crew members, and management Represent the company with professionalism, leadership, and integrity Qualifications Proven experience in hardscape or outdoor construction Previous leadership experience as a crew lead or foreman Strong knowledge of pavers, retaining walls, and landscape installation Comfortable operating construction equipment and towing trailers Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (CDL is a plus, not required) Solid math and measurement skills Ability to lead by example and keep projects moving efficiently Nice to Have (Not Required): Experience with pools, irrigation, masonry, or wood structures Industry certifications in hardscape or landscaping Benefits $30–$35/hour based on experience Year-end performance bonus 7 Paid Holidays 40 hours of Paid Time Off (PTO) Medical Insurance Plan 3% Company Match SIMPLE IRA Retirement Plan Weekly Pay Paid Training & Certifications Efficiency and Excellence Bonuses Annual Company Trips and Team Events Uniforms Provided Schedule & Location Full-time, Monday through Friday Overtime as needed based on project schedules Work performed at residential job sites Yard located in Powhatan, VA No overnight travel required Equal Employment Opportunity We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
