State University’s (NSU) Department of Nursing and Allied Health
seeks experienced public health professionals to serve as primary
instructional faculty or primarily research faculty for the MPH
program. This program will have a focus on health equity, engage in
scholarly activity, grantsmanship, professional development and
service commensurate with faculty rank appointment.
Responsibilities include teaching, research, student development,
advisement, and activities support and pursue program funding.

Qualifications 1. An earned Master of Public Health degree and
terminal degree in public health or a related degree (e.g., a DrPH
or PhD) 2. Evidence of scholarly achievement in teaching, research,
service and professional development. Preferred Qualifications: 1.
Demonstrated leadership and research in a public health field at
local, state or national levels. 2. Commitment to academic
development, teaching and mentoring MPH students. 3. Experience
with health equity, diversity or inclusion initiatives. 4.
Effective verbal and written communication skills. Excellent
