Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This
full-time, itinerant Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position
offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of
elementary and middle school students in Midlothian, VA. As a
school-based SLP, you will provide essential speech and language
support to help students improve their communication skills and
succeed academically. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct speech and
language assessments and develop individualized education plans
(IEPs) - Deliver direct therapy services tailored to each student's
needs - Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school
professionals to support student progress - Maintain accurate
records and monitor student outcomes - Manage a caseload typically
around 50 students, never exceeding 55 Desired Qualifications and
Experience: - Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure or
certification - Experience working with pediatric populations;
school-based experience preferred but not required - Ability to
manage an itinerant caseload across elementary and middle school
settings - Strong communication and organizational skills -
Commitment to fostering student growth and development Location and
Work Environment:This position is based in Midlothian, Virginia,
serving multiple schools within the area. Specific caseload and
school locations will be discussed during the interview process,
offering an opportunity to understand the unique needs of each
