candidate will help lead a team in the development and management
of cross-discipline complex changes to the propulson plant control
and information system (CIS). The candidate will interface with
internal and external customers, vendors, and partners in the
planning and development of multiple ship alteration projects
requiring simultaneous management of major overlapping events (e.g.
active fleet availabilities, new construction obsolescence
control). Must Have Bachelor's Degree and 9 years of relevant
exempt experience; Master's Degree and 7 years of relevant
professional experience; Ph.D. and 4 years of experience. Newport
News Shipbuilding requires a Bachelor's Degree in engineering from
an ABET accredited program. Nice to Have Familiar with CVN 78 plant
design and operations. Experience with control system software
change control and lifecycle management Experience leading
cross-discipline efforts Exceptional technical writing skills Why
