Job Description Job Description Benefits: Commission 401(k) Health insurance Field Service Technician (Full-Time, Nationwide Travel) Location: Travel-Based | Pay: $50K Base Uncapped Commission Gordon Technical, a leading service provider in the asphalt testing industry for over 15 years, is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our high-demand, customer-focused team. In this role, youll service and maintain asphalt testing equipment (e.g., ovens, furnaces, presses, balances) at laboratories across the U.S. Youll manage your own route of existing customerslabs weve proudly served for years but havent been able to revisit due to high demand. Key Responsibilities: Travel up to 75% of the time to perform calibration, maintenance, and repair work on testing equipment Maintain strong customer relationships and help labs improve their testing accuracy Operate and stock a company-provided service van Collaborate with in-house support staff and fellow technicians Qualifications: 2 years in a technical or electronics-based role preferred (training available for the right candidate) Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset Valid drivers license with a clean driving record Ability to work independently, manage schedules, and build rapport with clients Comfortable with early mornings and frequent travel What We Offer: Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission Health insurance and 401(k) Paid vacation No weekend work Established customer base (85% of territory already assigned) This is your opportunity to join a company that values quality, professionalism, and technician autonomy.
