A well respected health system serving Virginia and -Northeastern -North Carolina is seeking an RN Charge Nurse Coordinator for their Emergency Department. - This large -health care provider -includes 12 hospitals, Elder Care facility, home health, hospice, medical transport, medical groups, imaging services, therapy, outpatient surgery centers, and a 900,000 member health plan. - The system has been voted "Employer of Choice" for over ten years and is in the U.S. News and World Report - as being one of the "Best Hospitals" for 15+ years. -The RN Charge Nurse Coordinator demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for the Emergency Department and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care. Under the direction of the Department Nurse Manager, the RN Charge Nurse Coordinator will - lead safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies -work flow -and contributes to the development of staff, increased staff satisfaction and promotes excellent customer service. - The schedule will be weekend nights (Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Saturday, Sunday, Monday).The qualified RN Charge Nurse Coordinator will have an RN Bachelor's, RN Doctorate or RN-Master's Degree with at least 18 months of nursing experience in the ED is required. - There will be Behavioral Health - de-escalation and physical intervention training within 15 days of hire.
