Job Title: Director of Business DevelopmentReports to: Director of Operations -Organization Overview: Roc Solid Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that builds hope for children and their families fighting pediatric cancer by providing programs that allow them to do what kids do best - play. We are best known for surprising kids fighting cancer with brand new playsets in their backyards and providing Roc Solid Ready Bags to families when their child is diagnosed.
Job Overview: The Director of Business Development is responsible for helping to achieve Roc Solid's financial mission support strategy by directing the development team members to achieve financial goals for the organization.
Responsibilities:--- - - - - -Set and achieve development goals for the organization--- - - - - -Creates new avenues to generate and close development leads. ---- - - - - -Trains and coaches team on ways to generate and close new leads for themselves.--- - - - - -Identify new fundraising sources including community engagement opportunities.--- - - - - -Develop and foster relationships with new corporate partners.--- - - - - -Oversees corporate partnerships, including creating agreements and seeing them through to fulfillment--- - - - - -Works with development team to create plans for achieving goals for all programs: Play It Forward, Ready Bag Packing Parties, ROD sponsorships, Beam Memberships and any other additional programs as introduced. ---- - - - - -Reviews sponsor engagement process to ensure we maintain and grow relationships with current supporters; always looking for ways to be an expert at saying thank you--- - - - - -Attends, participates, and leads weekly meetings with Leadership Team, and Development teams
