Koniag Management Solutions (KMS), a Koniag Government Services company, is looking for experienced Deputy Project Manager for our location in Elizabeth City, NC.

Position Overview:
The Deputy Project Manager (DPM) will attend to all company personnel needs including obtaining accesses to the facility. When notified of personnel issues by the customer, it is expected that the DPM will address these issues immediately. The DPM will oversee any employee removals and coordinate such removals with the customer. The DPM and will be responsible for timely and accurate monthly invoicing and producing the required monthly reports.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Attending to all employee needs as required
  • Monitoring employee performance and addressing any performance issues as required
  • Producing accurate and complete monthly reports as required by the contract
  • Validating and approving monthly invoices
  • Working with recruiting to fill any vacancies
  • Assisting new employees with onboarding
  • Demonstrated experience with project management
  • Demonstrated experience with client and customer services
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Ability to travel within the Elizabeth City area as required.
    Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
    • 5+ years of professional experience
    • 5 + years of administrative support experience
    • HS Graduate
    • 2 +years of college Working Environment & Conditions
      This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
