you.The Horizontal Product team is responsible for defining and
leading key strategic and cross-cutting initiatives within
Enterprise Consumer Products, ensuring the successful launch of new
digital experiences across multiple platforms. This team works
closely with hundreds of platforms and stakeholders to solve novel
and/or complex problems at scale.We are looking for a product
leader to run product strategy and integrated problem solving for
some of our most complicated use cases. In this role, you will be
responsible for partnering closely with our lines of business to
understand their pain points and define requirements and work with
architecture and enterprise platform leaders on multi-year,
integrated roadmap to achieve destination outcomes. You'll lead
cross-functional programs made of project managers, engineers,
architects, TPMs, Product Managers, and Business Analysts to ensure
delivery of capabilities that meet short-term and long-term
goals.What You'll Do
- Drive the vision for multi-year product strategy in partnership
with lines of business, collaborating with business partners to
translate high-level needs into capabilities that could be
leveraged across multiple use cases to drive business and customer
outcomes.
- Partner with Enterprise Product and Platform Director - VP
population on connecting the dots with other platforms to
understand key integration points and prioritization on
capabilities that cut across multiple systems.
- Clearly articulate, evangelize, and align enterprise platform
leadership behind the product strategy, ensuring commitments to
build for short- and long-term needs.
- Build a multi-year (2-3 year) roadmap and execution strategy
with the team by understanding customer and business needs and
utilizing data and stakeholder feedback to drive
prioritization.
- Partner with architecture and distinguished engineers to
research, define, and develop the architecture that will support
destination.
- Define metrics and KPIs we will use to measure the success of
the program.
- Build relationships and partnerships with teams across the
company, align on strategy, vision, execution and enablement.Who
You Are
- Experience defining strategy, building product roadmaps,
working with large cross-functional teams and shipping at
scale.
- Track record of successfully operating within a highly matrixed
work environment with multiple stakeholders including building
successful partnerships with lines of business, engineering, and
platform groups.
- Consumer-centric view with a proven track-record of developing
and acting on customer insights.
- Experience with A/B testing, hypothesis validation, user
testing and analytics software.
- Documented success building, managing and retaining
high-performance teams.
- Ability to clearly identify the tradeoffs of product KPIs and
decisions.
- A clear thinker with external focus and excellent communication
and relationship building skills; ability to communicate complex
concepts in a simple manner.
- Strong analytical skills and a hypotheses-driven approach to
problem solving.
- Flexibility to quickly adapt to rapidly changing priorities and
deadlines.In this role, you'll be expected to demonstrate

- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 7 years of experience in Digital Product
ManagementPreferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- MBA or Master's degree
- 10+ years of experience in Product Management
- 5+ years of experience translating business strategy and
analysis into consumer facing digital productsCapital One will

annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please
note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to
perform work within one of these locations.McLean, VA: $226,000 -
$257,900 for Director, Product ManagementNew York, NY: $246,500 -
$281,300 for Director, Product ManagementRichmond, VA: $205,400 -
$234,400 for Director, Product ManagementSan Francisco, CA:
$246,500 - $281,300 for Director, Product ManagementThis role is
also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation,
which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives
