Beacon Health OptionsJob Category: Clinical - GeneralReq #: MGRCL01931Schedule: Full TimeLocation: VA - ChespeakeWe are currently seeking a dynamic Manager of Clinical Services to join our team at our office in Chesapeake, VA.The Manager of Clinical Services, (Training and Auditing) provides oversight of the Military OneSource Clinical Quality Auditors to ensure staff meets or exceeds ValueOptions Federal Service's clinical and quality audit standards and provides call center managers, clinical supervisors and operations staff with quality data to drive increased performance. The Manager of Clinical Services (Training and Auditing) partners with the management team to ensure frequent performance and developmental feedback are provided to the Military OneSource staff and compiles/reports monitoring evaluation data and ensures coaching sessions are held between quality advisors, clinical supervisors and triage consultants. Provides Military OneSource Staff with an action plan for process improvement, and if needed collaborates with the management team in the corrective action process by gathering documentation regarding noncompliance in meeting required standards. Provides management oversight and guidance to the Military OneSource clinical, program and technical trainers. The Manager of Clinical Services (Training and Auditing) is responsible for ensuring all training complies with the contract requirements; that all training is tracked and easily reported, and any new training modules are approved by the government prior to use. Functions as the liaison between clinical, quality and call center operations to coordinate all clinical quality auditing and training initiatives and programs.

Position Responsibilities:



1. Ensure processes are in place to support compliance with all state and federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, regulatory requirements, accrediting agencies (National Committee for Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Accreditation Committee) as well as ValueOptions' clinical criteria and policies and procedures.

2. Assure integrity and confidentiality of call monitoring documentation and evaluates/develops monitoring tools to support efficiency and effectiveness in the call monitoring process.



3. Monitor the auditing process to ensure timeliness and accuracy of any contractual follow up inquiries made by Military OneSource staff.



4. Measure the ability of staff to successfully meet all client performance expectations and presents final assessments/employment recommendations to management. Identifies improvements or training opportunities and develops/presents quality improvement training materials to improve overall service quality.



5. Compile and present summary level call coaching and efficiency data which becomes part of each Military OneSource Staff's performance review.

6. Identify trends in inquiry monitoring and applies corrective actions as necessary to meet business needs. Ensures follow through with Military OneSource Staff.



7. Develop auditing protocols for the department. Facilitate weekly calibration meetings and team meeting for Quality Assurance auditors. Conduct annual performance evaluations and providing ongoing feedback to the auditing team.



8. Develop ideas for performance improvement, service delivery, and cross-functional initiatives that contribute to departmental success.



9. Collaborate with the management team on new client implementation activities, including development/presentation of training materials, to ensure all home service center and client performance expectations are met.



10. Provide data to measure outcomes and provides follow-up on poor performance issues. Make recommendations to the management team regarding how to improve the quality process.



11. Assist with coordinating Quality Improvement activities.



12. Provide day-to-day supervision of the clinical, program and technical trainers in all locations, including setting of goals and performance review feedback.



13. Work with other Military OneSource management team members to communicate training initiatives and meet the needs of staff development throughout the program.



14. Work with other managers, supervisors and staff to gain knowledge of training needs and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives and technologies.



15. Oversee the development of new training materials, and revisions to current materials to provide a variety of training modalities pertaining to military culture and the Military OneSource program.



16. Ensure all training milestones are met. Provide data and reporting information for senior management and the government as needed.



17. Formulate teaching outlines and determine instructional methods such as: individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings and workshops.

18. Assist in the writing of material for new training programs; review, evaluate, and modify existing and proposed programs; recommend appropriate changes.

19. Conduct training sessions covering specified areas such as; on-the-job training, refresher training, etc.

20. May be called on to perform other duties and other responsibilities related to the engagement center activities in order to maintain critical processes and programs under the direction of existing policies and procedures.





Position Requirements:

Education: Master's degree in Social Work or one of the other core mental health disciplines



Licensure: Current, valid and unrestricted Clinical License (Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor).



Relevant Work Experience: Minimum of five years post graduate clinical/administrative experience, some of which has been in a supervisory capacity.
