We offer a competitive benefits package to our full time employees and we are always accepting applications from qualified candidates.Duties & Responsibilities:* Reviews and audits daily charge tickets for correct CPT, ICD-10 abd HCPCS for office, hospital,nursing home and surgery for posting.* Assists with pre and post audits. The various auditing duties are related to physician practicemanagement and coding to maintain compliance with payer reimbursement policies andgovernmental regulations as well as Medicare/ CMS guidelines.* Monitors progress resulting from periodic internal audits and communicates with ComplianceSpecialist.* Provides training in coding and compliance issues to physicians, non-physician providers andstaff on an ongoing basis.* Provides physicians and staff with up to date coding information from reliable, accurate sources.* Assists with implementing new coding guidelines in a timely manner within the practice.* Keeps current with medical compliance and reimbursement policies, such as medical necessityissues and correct coding initiatives.* Maintains required annual CEU's.* Performs special projects as directed by Supervisor.* Establishes and maintains good working relationships with managers and members of otherdepartments.* Maintains confidentiality in regards to patient account status and the financial affairs ofthe clinic/corporation.* Maintains annual compliance education.* Regular and reliable attendance.* Presents to work on time as scheduled.* Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.Qualifications:* General knowledge of medical practices, including exceptional interpersonal skills.* Ability to organize and effectively work on multiple projects at one time.* Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.* Excellent telephone skills.* Must demonstrate the ability to work as a team member.* Must demonstrate a positive attitude, and helpful demeanor.* General knowledge of standard office equipment such as computers, fax machine,photo copier, etc.Education and/or Experience:* Minimum of 1 year previous medical experience required.Supervisory Responsibilities:NoneJob Type: Full-timePowered by JazzHRcXNds9B7Dj
