Job Description SIGN-ON BONUS: $10,000 for FT IV RN Our Chesapeake location is searching for a top-notch IV Nurse to service the Chesapeake, Portsmouth and Suffolk areas. The IV Homecare Infusion Nurse organizes and directs home care services and is experienced in nursing, with emphasis on vascular access devices. The infusion nurse initiates, monitors, and terminates therapies. Performs venous punctures, maintains intravascular site including line and dressing, monitor for infections, assess patients for adverse reaction and complications, patient education, patient follow up, supply maintenance and documentation all patient directed activities. QUALIFICATIONS Home Health Experience Preferred. Current licensure in State, CPR certification, valid driver license. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Prefer Bachelor's Degree Minimum of one year recent acute care experience. Prefer at least one year of experience and/or knowledge in infusion therapy. Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and multitasking.
