Planet Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Chesapeake, Virginia. Job Description & Requirements

• Employment Type: Travel ICU RN needed, 13 weeks with possible extension MUST HAVE STRONG NEURO EXP 3x12 OR 4x12 (OT billed after 48 on 4x12), Nights, weekdays, EOW, Float, Holidays within contract 48 hour contract with OT after 48 available - PLEASE INDICATE CANDIDATE PREFERENCE BLS, ACLS required via American Heart Association; NIHSS required Must be willing to float to ED/Med Surg to care for ICU patients being held Skills required: vents, IV start, Telemetry, PA (Swan-Ganz) Lines, Conscious Sedation, strong neuro experience required (post brain surgery, EVD exp/ventriculostomy) Ratios - 1:2-33 years CC experience preferred (will consider strong candidates without 3 years) travel experience preferred Must be EPIC proficient, no exceptions Local Rules: No RN candidates will be accepted if they reside less than 50 miles from facility.
