Job Description:
A company is looking for a Coder I - ProFee.
Key Responsibilities
Abstracts data from medical records into Epic and 3M 360 for
detailed case summaries
Identifies and codes diagnoses and procedures according to
ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 guidelines
Responsible for coding ED, Diagnostic, and Ancillary records,
including documentation quality assurance
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required
1 year of outpatient coding preferred
Completion of a coding course or 1 year of outpatient coding
experience
Certification as CPC, COC, CPC-P, CCS, or equivalent required
Additional coding certifications such as CRC, CIC, RHIT, or RHIA
required
