23832 Hours: Monday- Friday: 8-5 Dental Care at Cosby Village is
hiring! We are looking for a FT hygienist to join our team and
provide excellent patient care. We are building a very
family-oriented team with goals to be patient-focused, energized,
and committed to one another in delivering quality care to our
community. Previous experience is preferred, but we are willing to
provide training for a great addition to our team. New grads are

hygienist license in Virginia and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s
degree in dental hygiene (where required) - Excellent working
knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient
screening and medical history documentation - CPR Certification
Preferred Experience - NEW GRADS WELCOME! - Experience using
Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and
electronic medical record systems - Desire to continue learning and
grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide
preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental
health - Clinical needs as required by office Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the
Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable

the position - Prolonged periods sitting and standing - Must be
able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times - Availability to
attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically

tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental
office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office
roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test
