Job Description:
A correctional facility is seeking an internal medicine
physician for locum tenens coverage. The facility is located in
Lawrenceville, VA. Credentialing takes approximately two weeks. The
schedule is flexible, offering either Monday-Friday from 8 AM to
4:30 PM or four 10-hour shifts. No call is required. The provider
will see 18-20 adult patients per day. Candidates must be BC/BE in
FM or IM with a valid VA license and DEA. The facility uses paper
charting but utilizes Sapphire for prescriptions. Support staff
includes RNs and LPNs. Dates Needed: ASAP-3 months Case Load/PPD:
