Hours/Shift: 36-hours, Nights Education - Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing - Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN Certification/Licensure - Registered nursing License (Required) - BLS required within 90 days of hire Experience - 18-months of RN experience is required RN Unit Coordinators demonstrate proficiency in nursing practice for assigned specialty area and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department. Under the direction of the department manager leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff. The 135-acre campus, coming out of the ground at Halstead Boulevard Extended and Thunder Road, will be known as the Sentara Albemarle Regional Health Campus. It is projected to cost about $200 million, up from the original estimate of $158 million, due to sharp spikes in costs for building materials and medical equipment.
