Job Description Position: Board-Certified OBGYN – Locum Tenens Location: Eastern North Carolina Start Date: As soon as credentialed - 30-60 days – ongoing need during permanent recruitment- Opportunity Overview: Seeking a Board-Certified OBGYN to provide hospital call coverage for their well-established practice in Eastern North Carolina. This opportunity offers flexible weekend call coverage, strong support systems, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a close-knit community setting. Assignment Details: - Coverage Schedule: - 2 weekends/month – Friday 8:00 AM through Monday 8:00 AM - Coverage needed through December 31, 2025 - Scope of Work: - 100% inpatient clinical care - Vaginal and Cesarean deliveries - Respond to hospital within 20 minutes - Delivery Volume: 28–34 per month - No ICU or code responsibilities - Facility: - 25-bed community hospital - 7-bed Low Volume ED - Epic EMR - On-site Air and Ground Support for transfers Credentialing Requirements: - Must Haves for Initial Submission: - Current Board Certification in OB/GYN - CV in month/year format, listing all work locations (not staffing companies) - Explanations for any CV gaps - Current NRP Certification - If Assignment Exceeds 6 Months: - ALSO Certification - Completion of AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Course (within last 2 years) Why Choose Elevate Healthcare Consultants? - Weekly Pay - Direct Deposit - Medical Malpractice Coverage Provided .
