Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Orthopedic Location: Richmond, VA Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,027 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Orthopedic Unit – Virginia Start Date: January 5, 2026 Location: Richmond, Virginia Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week, every other weekend; floating to like units (med/surg) as needed Highlights: 25-bed orthopedic unit specializing in post-operative hip, knee, spine, and other orthopedic procedures Purpose-built unit, just over one year old with state-of-the-art facilities and ample equipment Patient ratio of 5-6 patients to 1 nurse with support from PCTs and departmental secretary Documentation via Meditech EMR system TJC Certified Hip and Knee Program with numerous Daisy and Bee Award nominations Supportive team environment with experienced nursing staff, some with over 20 years tenure Requirements: Active RN license in Virginia (or compact state eligibility) Current BLS certification required Experience with post-operative patient care Meditech experience preferred Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills Why It's a Great Opportunity: Join a highly recognized orthopedic program that prioritizes both patient and staff experience.
