The unit has 10 beds with a patient ratio of 5:1. Staffing includes 2 RNs and 1 Patient Care Technician. The unit is equipped for telemetry monitoring and general medical-surgical telemetry procedures. Documentation is maintained using Meditech. Scheduling requires every other weekend commitment. The nurse may float to other similar units if needed. Patient experience requirements include bedside shift reports and hourly safety rounding. The team is dedicated to providing 24/7 telemetry monitoring for patients. The work environment supports new technology and a collaborative team atmosphere.
