Job Description:
*$25,000 Sign On Bonus for offers accepted by February 28, 2026.
Terms and Conditions apply. Shift: 8AM-4:30PM The practice of
radiography is performed by radiologic technologists responsible
for the administration of ionizing radiation to humans of all ages
(newborn to geriatric) for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research
purposes. A radiographer performs radiographic procedures and
related techniques, producing images at the request of and for
interpretation by a licensed independent practitioner. Core
Competencies Perform all the duties of a Diagnostic Technologist
II. Capable of being a contributing member of quality improvement
initiatives as assigned. Expected to lead daily department huddles
as assigned. Demonstrates the ability to assist with examination
protocol and policy review/revisions. Expected to perform basic
lead technologists' functions such as coordinating work
assignments, workflow, and staffing for an assigned shift/area;
serve as a clinical or technical resource; provide training.
Capable of performing the Dosimeter Badge coordinator duties.
(Where applicable) Capable of Initiating service calls and
following up until issues are resolved. Demonstrates the ability to
participate in EOC rounding and TJC tracers alongside department
leadership. Capable of acting as a safety coach duty as they may be
asked to serve on the committee. Demonstrates the ability to
develop and mentor other learners. Expected to show initiative and
contribute to successful modality operations. Capable of
recognizing excellence in coworker performance and does not
participate in disruptive behavior. Demonstrates the ability to
initiate process improvement discussions with senior leaders.
Expected to anticipate the needs of patients and coworkers and
works to proactively remove barriers to exceptional customer
service and/or teamwork. Advanced Competencies Expected to perform
complex procedures as applicable to your primary area. This
includes but is not limited to Lumbar Punctures, Myelograms,
advanced MSK procedures, procedures involving a sterile technique,
and complex imaging that requires extensive critical thinking.
Capable of inventorying, ordering, and tracking unit supplies. This
includes the ability to utilize any 3rd inventory management tools
designed for your area. Knowledge and Competency Highly
experienced. Proficient in modality advanced competencies. Thorough
knowledge of technical standards, the scope of practice, department
and health system policies, safety and service standards.
Participates in the development of modality policy, procedures, and
workflows. Thorough understanding of imaging equipment, image
processing software, instrumentation, and ancillary patient care
equipment. Education, Certification & Experience The position
requires certification by the American Registry of Radiology
Technologists (ARRT), BLS, and a bachelor’s degree with a minimum
of 4 years of experience. (Individuals with at least 6 years of
experience can use this in lieu of the education requirement. Team
members who reached Clin III status prior to 7.1.2023 are exempt
from this educational requirement. Days EEO
