Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and
minimum 1 years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who

healthcare role is available for a skilled Radiologic Technologist
committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services.
This position is based in Mechanicsville, VA, offering an
opportunity to work in a dynamic environment serving a diverse
patient population, including geriatric and cardiac center
patients. Candidates must be prepared to work an 8-hour evening
shift from 3 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with no on-call
duties required. Key Responsibilities: - Perform general diagnostic
radiography and assist with fluoroscopy procedures. - Position and
immobilize patients to obtain optimal imaging results while
ensuring patient comfort. - Adhere to radiation safety protocols
(ALARA) to minimize exposure. - Operate digital imaging and
radiographic equipment effectively. - Evaluate image quality and
document findings meticulously in PACS and Radiology Information
Systems. - Verify informed consent and complete clinical
documentation. - Collaborate professionally with physicians, staff,
and interdisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered care.
Qualifications and Desired Experience: - Certification and
registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic
Technologists) required. - Valid Virginia radiology license
mandatory. - Minimum of 1 year radiography experience required; 2
years preferred. - Experience with OR/Fluoroscopy required; travel
experience and Epic system familiarity preferred. - Basic Life
Support (BLS) certification required. - Skilled in patient
assessment, critical thinking, and professional communication. -
Familiarity with PACS and Radiology Information Systems.
