Job Description Trustaff is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Mechanicsville, Virginia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Stepdown - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Position Details Cardiac Medical Stepdown Unit (CMSU)- 3/9 Start Date NO LOCAL CANDIDATES (no candidates within 50-mile radius) MUST pass EKG Exam at Orientation (Study Guide Available in Simplify Library) Must be proficient in lab draws required BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required DAYS, required to work every other weekend/major holiday No Blocked Scheduling Guaranteed (EXCEPT possibly weekend blocked) Quick interviews Unit Specific Details 24 Beds Patient Population: SD, cardiac, surgical, renal, End stage respiratory, continuous BiPAP Skill Sets: Cardiac drips and titrations, BiPAP, insulin drips, cardiac rhythm Equipment: Alaris pumps, BiPAP, PCA, GlucoStabilizer, bedside cardiac monitor, Hoyer and Sara Stedy lifts Scrubs: Navy blue, white, or any combination of the two colors Ratio*: 1:3-4 *All listed ratios are subject to change based on staffing availability at the facility. Ratios are never guaranteed but are what the unit typically attempts to achieve with normal staffing.
