is available for a licensed and certified audiologist to provide
essential audiology services within a dynamic school district in
Virginia Beach, VA. This full-time, itinerant position offers the
chance to establish and develop a comprehensive audiology program,
as the district transitions away from a previously contracted local
clinic. Key Responsibilities: Conduct hearing assessments and
screenings within various school settings. Develop and implement
audiology services tailored to the needs of students. Collaborate
with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to support
students auditory health and learning. Travel between assigned
schools within the district to provide 1:1 audiology services.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district
policies and state regulations. Qualifications: Doctorate degree
(PhD) in Audiology required. Current Virginia Audiologist Licensure
mandatory. Certification in audiology preferred. Experience in
school-based audiology services is a strong advantage. Ability to
manage an independent itinerant caseload efficiently. Location &
Schedule: Based in Virginia Beach, VA. Full-time position,
approximately 37.5 hours per week. Travel required between school
sites within the district. Compensation: Hourly pay starting from
$79 to $91, commensurate with experience. This role is ideal for an
