Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Located in Murfreesboro, TN, this contract position offers the opportunity to provide specialized occupational therapy support within multiple school settings. This role requires a skilled professional committed to delivering both direct and consultative services to students, helping them achieve their educational goals through tailored therapeutic interventions. Key Responsibilities: Conduct OT and sensory evaluations and re-evaluations for referred students Directly serve approximately 11 students across 4 different schools Provide consultation services to support teams, teachers, and additional students (15-20) in need of OT guidance Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) and support team meetings to develop and monitor student goals Adapt service delivery as needed, with a possibility of increased days if referrals grow Qualifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based therapy settings preferred Proficient in conducting standardized evaluations and interpreting results for educational planning Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with educational teams and families Ability to manage caseload across multiple locations and prioritize responsibilities effectively Schedule and Duration: 3 days per week, 7 hours per day Primarily in-person support with flexibility as needed based on student needs Contract period starting the first week of February through one to two weeks before the end of the school year This position offers a dynamic environment to impact students educational experiences directly while working within a collaborative team.
