Job Description Pediatrician - Newport News, VA Job Type:
Full-Time (On-site) Location: Newport News, VA Job Summary: We are
seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatrician to join a
thriving and community-focused private practice in Newport News,
VA. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate, high-quality
care to infants, children, and adolescents while working
collaboratively with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive medical care for
pediatric patients, including routine check-ups, immunizations, and
developmental assessments. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic
pediatric illnesses. Counsel parents and caregivers on child
health, nutrition, growth, and development. Maintain accurate and
timely medical records in compliance with all applicable standards.
Collaborate with nurses, medical assistants, and other providers to
ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care. Participate in
quality improvement and preventive health initiatives.
Qualifications: Doctor of Medicine ( MD ) or Doctor of Osteopathic
Medicine ( DO ) degree. Board Certified or Board Eligible in
Pediatrics. Active or eligible Virginia medical license and DEA
registration . Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care. Prior experience
in pediatrics preferred (new graduates welcome to apply).
