Pharmacist Location: Chesapeake, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,606 per week Shift Information: Rotating - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/27/2026 About the Position Job Title: Pharmacist Inpatient Profession: Pharmacy Specialty: Pharmacist Inpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating schedule, weekdays, some weekends Hours per Shift: 5x8 hours (Day shifts: 06:30 - 15:00, 07:30 - 16:00, 09:00 - 17:30, 10:00 - 18:30; Evening shifts: 13:00 - 21:30, 14:30 - 23:00; Overnight shifts: 19:30 - 07:30, 20:30 - 07:30) Experience: 1 year inpatient pharmacy experience required; travel experience preferred License: Must have a valid license in hand at the time of submittal Certifications: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required; PharmD, RPh required Must-Have: - IV experience - Pain controlled analgesia - Antibiotics - Drug interactions - Order entry - Verify medication orders - EPIC charting experience required Description: This role is for a Pharmacist in an inpatient setting. The position is for an ASAP start for a duration of 13 weeks. The shifts follow a rotating schedule with weekdays and some weekends included. Every third weekend rotation is expected. If working overnight shifts, expect a schedule of 7 nights on followed by 7 nights off. Shifts could include various day and evening times. Candidates must have a Virginia license in hand at the time of submittal. A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy is required along with a PharmD and RPh. IV experience, as well as experience with pain controlled analgesia, antibiotics, drug interactions, order entry, and verifying medication orders, are required. Preferred experience includes chemotherapy, anticoagulants, pharmacokinetic dosing, and renal dosing. A minimum of 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience is required, and travel experience is preferred. Professional dress or hunter green scrubs are required, and scrubs are not provided. The facility has a specific EHR system, and candidates must have experience with this charting system. There are strict requirements concerning license and background hits; any prior issues may eliminate a candidate from consideration.
