Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist Opportunity in Virginia We are currently seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to join our team in Virginia. This locum tenens position offers a competitive hourly rate with a permanent placement cap. Requirements: Board Certification (ACGME or AOA) - REQUIRED Virginia Medical License - REQUIRED (providers must already hold a valid license) ACLS, PALS Certification - REQUIRED DEA License (Virginia) - REQUIRED At least 3 weeks/month availability Flu Shot - Required COVID Vaccination - Highly preferred Clean File - REQUIRED Malpractice Insurance with a minimum coverage of 2.6M (effective 7/01/2023) Job Details: Practice Setting: Hospital Based Documentation System/EMR: EPIC Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day: Approximately 150/year Will Supervise CRNAs (ratio 1:4) Number of Anesthesiologists in Practice: 10 Patient Age Demographic: Adult Number of Operating Rooms: 13 This opportunity is located near Wake, VA.
