Job Description:
Freemason Abbey Restaurant is looking for an experienced and
creative Executive Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will
have a passion for food and commitment to creating unique and
delicious dishes. The Executive Chef will be responsible for
overseeing the entire kitchen staff, developing menus, creating new
recipes, and ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standard.

local business, that is iconic in our community. We have a scratch
kitchen, with our menus featuring fresh seafood, steaks, pasta
dishes and more. We are well known for our award winning she crab
soup! Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Develop and
maintain menus Manage and oversee daily operations of the kitchen
creating an atmosphere of focusing on guest satisfaction Ensure
food safety regulations are strictly followed Train and develop
staff to ensure high standards of food preparation, presentation
and consistency Monitor costs and adjust prices accordingly while
maintaining food cost budget Maintain highest levels of cleanliness
and organization Order food/supplies as needed Partner with GM
and/or designated managers/chefs to regularly review all kitchen
staff members to give specific and focused feedback Create new and
maintain existing recipe costing in partnership with GM and
designated chefs Partner with GM and management team to interview,
hire, onboard, train, supervise and develop all BOH employees and
teams as needed Model and promote teamwork across all teams Use
tact and good judgment when dealing with challenges pertaining to
guests, vendors and employees, and respond with patience and
courtesy Work a variety of days and shifts (including early
mornings, nights and weekends, Holidays) Salary Range : $60,000 -
$80,000 per year including bonus pay Benefits included: Health
Insurance allowance $400 monthly (includes dental and vision) Paid
vacation days 401K with up to 3% match employer contribution
Monthly bonus opportunities based on bottom line profit Several
staff events throughout the year Education/Experience: 3 years of
experience as an Executive Chef in an upscale, full service
restaurant Strong communication and computational skills required
culinary school a plus Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $60,000 -
$80,000 Annual Bonus/Commission: No
