SilverRide is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated PACE Driver to join our team. As a PACE driver, you will provide specialized transportation services to senior citizens, assisting them in maintaining their independence by escorting them safely to and from appointments, social gatherings, and other events. Your role is crucial in enabling our clients to connect with their communities and lead active, fulfilling lives. This position requires a unique blend of safe driving skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and a deep commitment to providing respectful and sensitive support to the elderly. Safely transport seniors to and from various destinations in compliance with all traffic and safety regulations. Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times. Maintain accurate travel logs and report any incidents or safety concerns. Provide friendly interaction and support to enhance the travel experience of each passenger. Coordinate with the SilverRide coordination team to plan routes and schedules efficiently. Safe driving record First Aid and CPR Excellent communication skills Empathy and patience with elderly passengers Time management and scheduling Valid driver's license Clean driving record First Aid and CPR certified Specific training in defensive driving is preferred
