SilverRide, a frontrunner in senior mobility solutions, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Shared-Ride Transportation PACE Driver. This unique position is tailored for individuals passionate about enhancing the lives of senior citizens by providing safe, reliable, and courteous transportation services. The role involves not only driving but also assisting passengers during their trips to ensure they have a seamless, enjoyable experience. Our drivers are more than chauffeurs; they are companions and supporters of our clients' independent lifestyles. Safely transport clients to and from various destinations following all road safety regulations. Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle and help with any mobility aids or personal belongings. Maintain punctuality for all scheduled rides to ensure reliable service. Communicate effectively with clients and their families, providing updates as needed. Regularly inspect transportation vehicle and report any maintenance issues. Comply with all transportation laws, regulations, and company policies. Provide companionship and supportive conversation during rides. Maintain accurate records of travel and expenses. Strong driving and navigational skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently. Physical fitness to assist passengers. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Driver safety training certification or willingness to undergo training.
