Position:
The Human Resources Generalist provides support to the Human
Resources team with a focus on recruitment and employee onboarding.
This individual performs a variety of tasks and works under limited
supervision. A moderate degree of creativity is needed and latitude
is given to complete tasks and projects. The highest degree of
confidentiality is required.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for full candidate recruitment and sourcing strategy
development - Ability to review resumes, certifications, and
experience that align with the position requirements - Responsible
for candidate sourcing using search tools, networking, and social
media to generate a candidate pool - Ensure an outstanding
candidate experience through consistent communication during the
recruitment process - Conduct in-person and phone interview to
qualify candidates - Facilitate regular communication updates and
intake sessions for new and in process requisitions - Ability to
drive continuous improvement regarding the recruitment process and
workflow - Responsible for creating, formatting, and posting jobs
to various job boards and websites - Provide excellent service to
our hiring teams on a consistent basis - Conduct and ensure the
success of new hire onboarding - Monitor and track company required
trainings - Review and reconcile employee inputs of holiday/leave
data into payroll system - Assist in maintaining compliance with
federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and
recommend best practices; reviewing policies and practices to
maintain compliance. - Assist with explaining and reviewing leave
administration: FMLA, Maternity, Paternity, Short-term Disability,
etc. - Assists in responding to manager and employee queries
regarding, but not limited to the following: performance, employee
relations, and company policies - Maintain employee files and
records in electronic and paper form - Assist the Benefits Manager
with projects as required - Follow up on employee queries in a
timely manner - Serve as a member of the HR team; perform duties
necessary to ensure the team's projects/goals are completed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and 3 or more years of related work experience
- Minimum 3 years full life cycle recruiting experience -
Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) - Good working
knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel -
Results-oriented mindset (high sense of urgency, determination,
tenacity, etc.) - Detail-oriented and able to manage shifting
priorities - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
required - Ability to positively interact with both internal and
external customers - Ability to work well with others in a
collaborative team environment
