Job Description:

Oncology-Medical Oncology opening in Nags Head, North Carolina. Medcare Staffing is in need of an experienced Oncologist. All services are outpatient based, no inpatient consults. Coverage Needed for 2023: Monday Thursday 7:30am 5:00pm NOTE: additional dates needed beginning April 3 - Dec 28, 2023 (Mon-Thurs)
Long-term provider is needed. Details:
Outpatient Only
Avg. # of patients per day/provider: 10-14
No codes
Not required to serve back up in the ER
Bone marrow biopsy required
Established cancer program including Hem Onc, Rad Onc, General Surgery, Patient navigators and 11-chair infusion center onsite
Cancer program ACoS accredited
Dare County EMS Air and Ground Support to immediately transfer patients
21-bed critical access hospital
3 OR & 1 C/S Room
Anesthesiologist
Onsite Radiologist
24 hour Laboratory Availability Other Information:
EMR = EPIC (HealthSpan)
