Senior Computer Engineer

General Description: - The Senior Computer Engineer will be responsible for leading advanced research and development projects in the field of computer engineering, with a focus on innovative solutions for complex technical challenges. This role requires computer and system architecture, along with a deep understanding of emerging technologies and industry trends. The Senior Computer Engineer will play a key role in driving innovation and advancing the state-of-the-art in computer designs across various domains, including space. - Principal Duties and Responsibilities: -

• Lead research initiatives to develop computer solutions to address complex problems in diverse domains such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, and data analytics. -
• Design and implement scalable and efficient software systems, leveraging best practices in systems engineering, resiliency and performance tuning. -
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to define project requirements, establish technical specifications, and deliver high-quality solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations. -
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning. -
• Conduct thorough evaluations and testing of computer prototypes and solutions, analyzing performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and iterating on designs as necessary. -
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in computer engineering research, technology trends, and industry advancements, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and enhance project outcomes. -
• Contribute to technical proposals, grant applications, and publications to secure funding and disseminate research findings to the broader scientific community. - Work Experience Requirements: -

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in computer engineering, or related field, with a proven track record of leading research and development projects. -
  • Demonstrated expertise in computer development, with a strong publication record in peer-reviewed conferences or journals. Educational Requirements (or equivalent): - ------
    • Masters or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on relevant research areas. -
    • Additional certifications or specialized training in areas such as machine learning, cybersecurity, or cloud computing are advantageous. - Working Conditions:
