SimVentions is looking for a seasoned Penetration Tester IV to join our innovative cybersecurity team. This role is tailored for a driven professional eager to work in a dynamic environment while providing essential services to the Department of Defense (DoD). As a Penetration Tester IV, you will lead complex security assessments and simulate cyber attacks to identify and rectify vulnerabilities within our systems. Conduct advanced penetration tests to evaluate security in complex software applications, systems, and networks. Collaborate with IT security analysts to refine cybersecurity defense strategies. Lead vulnerability assessments and articulate risk to non-technical stakeholders. Develop detailed reports on findings and suggest continuous improvements for security protocols. Mentor junior penetration testers and lead by example in both technical and soft skills. Expert knowledge in tools such as Metasploit, Nmap, and Wireshark Proficiency in scripting languages including Python, Bash or similar Strong understanding of network protocols, cloud security, and operating systems Capability to think like both an attacker (offensive) and a defender (defensive) Excellent communication skills for reporting and educating stakeholders Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
