This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment and is eager to apply their expertise in personal injury litigation. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our team, providing crucial support to our attorneys by managing the day-to-day aspects of personal injury cases from inception through resolution. This role requires a deep understanding of the litigation process, excellent research skills, and the ability to handle a high volume of cases. Responsibilities: 1. Manage personal injury cases from inception through resolution. 2. Conduct legal research to support the preparation of legal documents and case strategies. 3. Draft, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests. 4. Coordinate and assist with depositions, including preparing witnesses and summarizing deposition transcripts. 5. Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and mediations. 6. Efile in Virginia and other jurisdictions as required. 7. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and team members. 8. Maintain case files and ensure all relevant information is accessible and up-to-date. 9. Handle administrative tasks such as calendaring deadlines, scheduling appointments, and managing attorney correspondence. Qualifications: 1. A minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal. 2. At least 2 years of experience in personal injury (PI) litigation. 3. Proficiency in e-filing in Virginia. 4. Exceptional knowledge of legal research tools and techniques. 5. Experience in preparing and reviewing legal documents. 6. Strong familiarity with the deposition process. 7. Excellent oral and written communication skills. 8. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 9. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software. 11. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
