REQ#: 2019-65392Job DescriptionGDIT is hiring a self-motivated Project/Task Supervisor with experience managing government contract task/delivery orders. The successful candidate will work directly with government customers and technical representatives to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project.Provides technical, administrative, and operational leadership to assigned project or task(s).May prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project.The successful candidate will work directly with customers to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.Coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope.Attends customer meetings and may serve as primary client liaison.Coordinates development of deliverables and products.Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables.Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.Participates in special projects as required.Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs.Use and continually develop leadership skills.SkillsAdvanced time management and analytical skillsExcellent client-facing communication skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft ExcelEducationBachelors Degree in a related business or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experienceQualifications3-5 years experiance with MK-41 Vertical Launching System prefered but not required.
