Plasser American is looking for an energetic, very
detail-oriented Customer Services Parts Specialist/Inside Sales
Representative to make our customers' lives easier on a daily
basis. You will be responsible for responding promptly to customer
calls and emails, quoting and entering orders, checking inventory
and working closely with the other departments at Plasser to ensure
complete customer satisfaction.
An excellent Parts Specialist has a positive attitude and
enthusiasm on the phone and in emails. Good communication skills
are a must for success and personal growth.
Edit orders received for price and nomenclature.
Inform customers of unit prices, shipping dates, anticipated
delays, and any additional information need by the customer.
Enter data into the system and spreadsheets to determine price
and delivery availability.
Check inventory and notify appropriate departments of orders
that would deplete stock.
Route orders to the warehouse for filling and follow up that
orders will be delivered by customer-specified dates.
Compute price, discount, and shipping charges for credit card
Prepare invoices and shipping documents such as bills of
Recommend and prepare packing or labeling needed on an
Receive, check, and follow up on customer complaints or
Confer with production, sales, shipping, warehouse, or common
carrier personnel to expedite or trace missing or delayed
Attempt to upsell additional merchandise that will assist
customers in installing parts and ensuring machine sustainability
Prepare export shipment documentation for air, sea, and ground
(i.e. US Customs invoices, pro forma invoices, and contacting and
arranging export shipments with carriers).

Strong organization and communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
General ability to read blueprints and schematics when
Minimum 3 years of customer service experience.
A high school diploma and/or a technical degree.
