The Loan Center Member Service Representative assists members
and potential members with their Credit Union needs over the
telephone and via the internet; processes loan applications,
explains services, sets up new accounts, responds to problems. The
Member Service Representative processes and funds indirect loan
applications, ensuring proper documentation and maintenance of
Tracking Software and logs.
Interviews members for loans, extensions, and releases of
collateral and prepares for proper approval.
Funds and disburses approved indirect loans and ensures all
stipulations are met.
Maintains tracking software and logs for indirect loans; assures
that appropriate records are maintained and required reports are
Identifies cross-sell opportunities and cross-sells services to
Performs other related duties as assigned.
A high school diploma or equivalent
One to three years of similar or related experience
Broad knowledge departmental operations, policies, and
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with
auto dealers and employees
Analytical abilities to make decisions and resolve problems
Prior processing experience preferred
