Job Description:

Major purpose and functions of the position.--- Partner with assigned Regional Team to support and train district and store management in all shrink and loss initiatives. RAPM responsibilities will consist of but not limited to, execution, administration, monitoring and implementation of those activities relating to the protection of company assets.--- Investigate and report incidents where there are risks for loss, violations of company policies or procedures and operational concerns or issues.Principal Duties and Responsibilities - Primary responsibilities listed in order of importance--- Develop and present to management - Asset Protection awareness seminars, meetings and training sessions to promote all asset protection strategies.--- Assist Operations in establishing and monitoring action plans and controls in locations designated as high shrink class and risk stores.--- Administer and conduct Asset Protection store visits to create awareness, detect areas of vulnerability and/or violations of policies. Positive leverage of physical security resources vs. shrink, cash and other type losses.--- RAPM to be primary lead and will also provide direction, coaching and support with the investigation of suspected dishonesty, fraud, and known crimes at locations where needed.--- Utilize exception based reporting to identify areas of loss or shrink opportunities.--- Partnering with field team for successful resolutions with monitoring, analyzing, and follow-up on statistical data related to inventory or cash losses. Train, develop, and maximize use and compliance of all Asset Protection analytics, metrics, resources, tactics and programs.--- Maintain knowledge of Asset Protection trends, laws and governmental compliance.--- Assist Risk Management with Corporate Safety Program support when violations of federal / OSHA or state codes occur and in times of unusual occurrences or losses.--- Assist in coordination of physical security programs (defensive merchandising, alarms, guards, CCTV & safes).--- Maintain timely and accurate reporting on all Asset Protection related incidents. Minimum Requirements/Qualifications - Summary of knowledge, experience and education required.--- Five to seven years of multi-until retail.--- Strong investigative and interviewing skills.--- Wicklander-Zulawski trained / certified.--- Excellent written and oral communication skills.--- Understanding of CCTV operations.--- Able to travel with overnight stays--- Proficient with Microsoft office, exception based reporting and industry type shrink/cash loss metrics.
