Job Description:
A leading homecare and hospice organization located in the
Virginia Beach region is currently searching for multiple Hospice
Registered Nurse RN's to join their team.This 5-star homecare and
hospice healthcare organization offers award-winning comprehensive
in-home healthcare, non-medical senior care, respite and end of
life care, and hospice services. This regionally recognized
homecare and hospice organization works with leading healthcare
professionals who are trained specifically to provide the highest
quality of in-home, palliative, and respite care services. The
Hospice RN's will have the opportunity to join a team that strives
to maintain a high quality of patient satisfaction.The Hospice RN
will be responsible for the initial assessment and ongoing
assessment of patients and families to address the level of
clinical need. The Hospice RN will make necessary revisions to
active care plans to ensure efficient and effective care. The
Hospice RN will also be expected to administer medications and
treatments as prescribed by the physician. The Registered Nurse
will join an established hospice team that consistently receives
award and recognition in regards to high quality of patient
care.The Hospice RN must be a graduate from and accredited school
of nursing and must have current Virginia state nursing licensure.
Prior experience working as a Registered Nurse in home care or
palliative care setting is preferred. The Registered Nurse must be
able to work as normal within the in-home or inpatient setting such
as a hospital or nursing home.Located at the mouth of the
Chesapeake Bay, this surgery center's location offers quick access
