Job Description:
SUMMARY : Serve as front line customer service representative to
create extraordinary customer experiences. Perform general teller
activities of receiving and paying out money.Keep records of money
and negotiable instruments involved in a financial
institution.Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly services
described below.Recognize improper and suspicious transactions,
using proper precautions to prevent loss.Assist customers with
inquiries and direct them to the appropriate Bank departments when
needed. OCCUPATIONAL DESCRIPTION AND TASKS: 1.Diligently adhere to
Ozark Banks Mission Statement and Core Values. 2.Build customer
relationships, provide outstanding customer service, answer
customer inquiries and cross-sell bank products and services.
3.Explain, promote, or sell products or services such as money
orders, cashiers checks, and gift cards. 4.Receive checks and cash
for deposit to established DDA and Savings Accounts, verify amount,
and examine checks for endorsements and negotiability. 5.Cash
checks, pay withdrawals from savings accounts, and redeem savings
bonds and certificates of deposit.Process cash advances. Transfer
funds upon customer request.Receive payments on loans. Remove and
process deposits from night depository. 6.Perform account
maintenance such as name and address changes, stop payments, holds,
close accounts etc. 7.Count, proof, and package currency and
coin.Check for counterfeit bills, keep cash according to the
standards set.Responsible for the security of the funds in their
cash drawer. Meet the expectation of accuracy and daily balancing.
8.Be knowledgeable about all of the features of business and
personal checking, saving, and CD accounts offered by Ozark Bank.
9.Endeavor to learn the new account process and the completion of
loan applications. 10.Be familiar with Shazam access, PIN reset,
and transaction history. Assist customers in completing debit card
applications and hot carding Debit Cards when
appropriate.Knowledgeable with Reg E in order to complete
appropriate and accurate paperwork in a timely manner. 11.Foster
cooperation and teamwork with all coworkers. 12.Be able to work at
other locations based on circumstances and necessity.
13.Responsible for keeping up to date on federal and state
regulations and BAI training. 14.Follow and adhere to security
procedures, during shift and branch opening and closing procedures.
15.Be familiar with and adhere to Safe Deposit Box Procedures to
safeguard the customers assets and limit the banks liability.
Assisting customers with access to their box, monitoring the vault
area, and closing a box. 16.Be familiar with Teller Capture
Process, scanning work as needed. 17.Perform additional duties as
assigned or required. SKILLS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE: Minimum one
year cash handling and customer service experience. Strong
attention to detail. Able to multi-task, work both independently
and as a team, follow procedures, ensure security, and work in a
fast-paced environment. Mathematics, clerical, customer service,
oral and written communication, and personal computer skills. Able
to find and resolve problem situations. EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: High
School Diploma or equivalent. WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL WORK
CONDITIONS: Involved in work activities that include practical,
hands-on problems and identify solutions to those problems. Work in
an open, fast-paced environment. Ability to move, lift and carry 40
lbs. Ability to move and position self to perform tasks. Able to
proactively seek out new duties and/or training opportunities to
