system functionality; assess potential system improvements to
include recommended component and system upgrades to identify
possible negative effects on data; and ensure updates do not affect
the calibration or data ingestion.

field deployment of new Ocean/MET sensors, including evaluation of
sensor performance using data analysis and quantitative data
analysis of test data collected by measurement systems.
- Preparation of new and experimental Ocean/MET systems for field
deployment that includes sensor testing, integration of power and
sensors to the data collection platform, and confirmation of data
throughput via satellite and cellular telecommunication
systems.
