Job Description:
A company is looking for a News Designer to join their growing
news team.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce multiple editions per week by designing dynamic news
pages
Write catchy and accurate headlines, sell-lines, and captions
Collaborate with a team of designers and copy editors to meet
deadlines and optimize design for print and digital audiences
Required Qualifications:
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign and
Photoshop
Ability to work under deadlines, stay organized, and multitask
Passion and understanding of U.S. politics and policy issues
Proven ability to communicate effectively and work
collaboratively
Experience in print design and knowledge of optimizing design for
digital platforms
