• Supervise eight staff.
• Collaborate with Primary Care Physicians, Consultants, and outside providers
• Coordinate medical care for ten individuals
• On-call requirement to respond via phone/in-person to emergencies
• Provide technical support to non-licensed staff regarding healthcare services and medication administration including g-tube feeding & medication administration.
• Training & Monitoring of non-medical staff on g-tube feeding & medication administration, Foley Catheter, and Colostomy Bag.
• Monitor record keeping/documentation for accuracy and detail.
• Perform monthly assessments of resident status.
• Development & review of Nursing Care Plans.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: In addition to satisfying the vocational/education standards, this class requires a minimum of three years of related, full-time equivalent experience. SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES: Requires licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia or a reciprocal state (according to the Nurse Licensure Compact as prescribed by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing). May require a valid driver's license with a driving record that is in compliance with City Driving Standards.
